Just in: Family Of Slain NSCDC Officer Regain Freedom.

Three members of the Ayebulu’s family abducted last Saturday along Oke Ako- Ajowa road in Ajoni Local Council Development Area of Ekiti state have regained their freedom after allegedly paid five million naira as ransom.

The victims are, a civil servant, Mr Oyewole Ayebulu and two children of his elder brother, a civil Defence Officer who was killed during the attack, Segun Ayebulu.

Report says the victims were released on Wednesday’s evening at Ayede Ekiti in Oye local government.

Wife of the Victim, Mrs. Ronke Ayebulu confirmed to Radio Nigeria via telephone conversation that her husband and the two children have been released.

Mrs Ayebulu who was visibly happy, thanked God for timely release of the victims.

“Infact, I am the most happiest woman on earth, my husband and the two children of his elder brother have been released, I thank God. Ayebulu’s wife said.

When contacted, the spokesperson for the Ekiti State Police Command, Mr Sunday Abutu also confirmed that the victims had been set free.

Also, the Chairman of Ajoni Local Council Development Area, Prince Micheal Ogungbemi told Progress FM that the victims have been taken to hospital for medical attention after sustaining various degrees of injuries from the kidnappers.

Prince Ogungbemi promised to take care of the medical bills of the victims at the state General Hospital Ikole Ekiti.
