Independent petroleum marketer Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, wants federal government to find lasting solution to hike in the petroleum products.
The chairman of IPMAN in Oyo and Osun states Alhaji Bukola Mutiu stated this in Ibadan while featuring on Radio Amuludun FM weekly programme entitled ifiorowero.
Alhaji Mutiu who attributed low supply of the product to non availability maintained that in a bid to cushion the effect their is need for government to resuscitate the moribund refineries across the country.
The IPMAN boss who also emphasised the need for NNPC and other stakeholders in the petroleum sector to prevent the private marketers from monopolies the supply of the product, implored them to create a level playing ground in ensuring the availability of the product.
Commenting on the inconsistent in the price of diesel and gas Alhaji Mutiu pointed out that the recent increase in diesel product would drastically affect companies if not address by government.
Alhaji Mutiu urged NNPC to pay all the outstanding debt to ensure increase in the supply of the product.
