Ibadan Indigenes in Ekiti Celebrate Amala Day

Ibadan indigenes living in Ekiti State have been urged to ensure unity of purpose among themselves.

Ekiti State Qareeb Missioner, Imam AbdulHakeem Afenifere gave the advice at the annual Amala and award day in Ado-Ekiti.

Alhaji Afenifere emphasized that their unity, despite coming to Ekiti from different homes, would bring succour and happiness to every member.

Similarly, one of the awardees, Mr. Oladosu Abimbola advised Ibadan indigenes in Ekiti to see themselves as one family.

Represented by Mr. Semiu Ajibola, Mr. Abimbola emphasized that the step would ensure regular calling, visit and seeing to the welfare of members.

President, Ibadan Elites in Ekiti State, IBEES, Dr. Adebola Agbaje urged them to continue to contribute their quota to the development of their host communities.

Represented by IBEES Vice-President, Mr. Adetunji Adejumo, Dr. Agbaje noted that due to the accommodating nature of Ekiti people, there was need to reciprocate with good neigbhourliness.
