…as Radio Nigeria presents award of excellence to AMSH

As part of activities lined up to celebrate its 23rd anniversary, Radio Nigeria, Progress FM Ado Ekiti has presented award of excellence to Afe Babalola Multi System Hospital, Ado Ekiti for its outstanding performances and breakthrough in health sector globally.
Presenting the award at the University exco Chamber, the General Manager of Radio Nigeria, Progress FM, Ado Ekiti, Dr Adebola Agbaje noted that the award was bestowed on the Afe Babalola Multi System Hospital due to its world class facilities in terms of structures, equipment, experts, medical service delivery, among others.
Dr Agbaje therefore appreciated the Founder of Afe Babalola, University Ado EKiti ABUAD Aare Afe Babalola for his contributions to well being, education and human development, urging the Hospital not to relent in its efforts at saving lives.
Delivering a speech, the Vice Chancellor of Afe Babalola University, Professor Smaranda Olarinde who spoke through the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, Professor Christopher Aina confirmed that the award of excellence gone beyond institutional recognition, but celebration of daring vision, uncommon courage and untiring commitment to service by Aare Afe Babalola Multi System Hospital.
Professor Olarinde thanked Radio Nigeria for recognising Afe Babalola Multi System Hospital and promised that the the facility would continue to maintain excellence in health care delivery, research, training and service delivery to humanity.
In his speech, Chief Medical Director, Afe Babalola Multi System Hospital, Dr Akinola Akinmade who spoke about the humble beginning of the Hospital said that it had experienced different breakthroughs in treatment of different ailments such as heart surgery, kidney transplant as well as extending free medical services to thousand of people as Corporate Social responsibility, CSR.
Contributing, the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye who came on courtesy visit to ABUAD, appreciated Aare Babalola for establishing the world class Hospital in the country, saying it would reduce stress of traveling out of the country for Medical care.
Reacting, founder of Afe Babalola University, Aare Afe Babalola said he established the Hospital, because he wanted to do something for mankind and promised that the mandate would not be compromised.
He appreciated the recognition of Radio Nigeria, progress FM for the Afe Babalola University.
