Hoodlums suspected to be armed robbers this morning disposed a man along bank road in Ado Ekiti of an undisclosed huge amount of money.
Witness say the man must have been trailed by the suspected thieves from where the victim collected the huge sum of money.
A lady who happened to be oneof the traders along the route who pfefered anonimity said the suspected robbers drove away through new Iyin road in corolla sport car after they have successfully carried out their operation while those buying and selling scampered for safety.
The lady said the robbers were in mask as they were fiercely looking.
When radio nigeria got to the scene, the victim had become helpless and was surrounded by security operatives who were questioning him on the incident.
Road users were however held up for hours along the route for many hours as a result of the incident.
When contacted on phone Ekiti state police public relations office Mr Sunday Abut confirmed the incident and said that men of the force had been deployed to mount surveillance in the area so as to track down the suspects.
