HOARDING:Taskforce Shuts Petrol Station in Ekiti, Vows To Sanction More

The Taskforce Committee on Fuel Scarcity constituted by Governor Biodun Oyebanji has sealed off a filling station in Ado Ekiti for allegedly dispensing fuel at exorbitant price.

The filling station is said to be selling at six hundred naira per litre.

Radio Nigeria had earlier reported that many stations had started hoarding fuel immediately president Bola Tinubu announced that his administration would remove fuel subsidy.

Addressing Journalists, the Chairman of the Taskforce, Mr. Deji Adesokan said more Petrol stations would soon be sanctioned except they stop illegal and sharp practices.

He noted that the marketers were deliberately inflicting pains on Nigerians due to their selfish interest.
