A middle aged man, (yet to be identified) has been allegedly shot dead this morning, Tuesday 18th June, 2024 by unknown gunmen around Okesa Roundabout, Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
The man was one of those issuing tickets to commercial motorcyclists around Okesa roundabout.
Witnesses told our correspondent that those who shot him dead were on a motorcycle and sped off after perpetrating the evil act.
When contacted on telephone, Chairman, Okada Riders Association, Ekiti State, Mr Kunle Asaolu confirmed that the man was one of those working with the association.
The corpse has been deposited at the Ekiti State Teaching hospital, Ado Ekiti.
