Group Canvasses Support For Peter Obi In Ekiti State.

Towards getting support for the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, a group “Take Back Naija” have embarked on road walk in Ado-Ekiti.

During the walk which took them from Adebayo-Fajuyi-Post Office-Oja Oba to Ijigbo-Banks road in the state capital, the youths distributed leaflets and handbills to the passersby as well as stressing the need to support the LP presidential candidate.

While speaking, the Ekiti state Coordinator of the group, Mr. Emmanuel Udenka said the road walk was organized to sensitize residents of the state about Mr Peter Obi.

Mr. Udenka noted that “Take Back Naija”which is a volunteer group for the Labour Party candidate was formed to mobilise for him ahead of the 20203 election.

According to him, as part of the mandates of the group, a programme tagged “One Million March For Peter Obi” will take place in Ado-Ekiti on first of October.

Also, the Deputy Coordinator of the group in the state, Mr Olabode Olofinlade pointed out that the gesture of the people during the road walk indicated the popularity of Peter Obi.

Mr Olofinlade advised Nigerians to let the interest of the country prevail in their choice of in choosing their who will be their President.

He also urged them to consider equity and fairness in which no region in Nigeria would be at the helms of affairs at the expense of others.
