The Nasarawa State Government has announced indefinite postponement of the inauguration of the seventh State House of Assembly, earlier billed for today June 6, 2023.
The Acting Clerk of the House, Mr Ibrahim Musa confirmed this in a statement in Lafia.
He explained that the postponement was based on security advice to Gov. Abdullahi Sule.
Mr Musa called on the members-elect and the public to bear with the decision as a new date would be communicated to them in due course.
