Governor Fayemi Cautions Political Appointees, Government Functionaries Against Distraction.

By Amos Ogunrinde

The Ekiti State Governor, Dr KAYODE Fayemi has cautioned political appointees, government functionaries, political associates and groups to steer clear of actions capable of distracting his administration.

Dr FAYEMI gave the warning in a statement in Ado Ekiti while reacting to the 2023 Presidential campaign posters bearing his name and APC logo being circulated on the social media by the Chairman of Ikere Local Government, Mr Femi Ayodele.

Dr FAYEMI said he had four years mandate as Governor of Ekiti to serve the people and his administration would remain focus in implementing his five point agenda, hence there should be no any distraction.

The Governor explained that he has no knowledge of the campaign posters and he did not authorize Mr Ayodele, any person or group of persons to start any campaign on his behalf.

A statement by his chief press secretary, Mr Yinka Oyebode maintained that Mr Ayodele could not speak for the Governor on any issue, be policy, administrative or political.
