The Ekiti State Governor-elect, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has promised to work with men of the pen profession in order for his administration to record success.
Mr. Oyebanji who made the promise in Ado Ekiti during a thank you visit to members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council said any government that wants to succeed must be friendly with Journalists.
He noted that constructive criticism from Journalists would guide him in decision and policy making.
Mr Oyebanji pointed out that the visit was to appreciate the Journalists for their support and professionalism before and during the governorship election.
He pledged that an Ultra modern press centre would be constructed for the use of Journalists in the state.
Earlier, the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council, Mr. Rotimi Ojomoyela pointed out that the Governor-Elect had been supportive of the union before he was elected.
Mr. Ojomoyela assured the Governor-elect that the union would give his administration the needed support to achieve success.
