Give Your Members Robust Representation… Ekiti NUJ Chairman Charges NTA New Executives

The new executive members that will pilot the affairs of the Nigeria Television Authority NTA, NUJ chapel for the next three years have been elected and sworn-in.

The new executives are Mrs Tayo Oso, Chairman ,Mr Kola Adebobuyi-secretary, Treasurer, Ayodeji Adejumobi,- Treasurer, Adogbeji Odjegba Financial Secretary and Mr kehinde Durodola, Ex-Officio.

Performing the inauguration at the newsroom of NTA, Ado Ekiti, the Chairman of NUJ in Ekiti State, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi charged the new officers to build on the achievements of the former executives and give priority to welfare of their members.

Mr Babatuyi also implored them to support the state executives in their efforts to move the NUJ forward.

In her acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated Chairman of NTA, Ado Ekiti, Mrs Tayo Oso commended the efforts of the past executives and promised to do everything possible to give the union a facelift.

Mrs Oso therefore solicited the support of members to achieve her vision for the NTA chapel of NUJ.

In his speech, the General Manager, NTA Ado Ekiti, Alhaji Ishaq Ayo Akande told the new executives to see their position as call to serve , urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them by giving preference to the needs of members.
