The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) wishes to inform the general public that certain fraudulent individuals and groups are attempting to sell or transfer ownership of a parcel of land belonging to FRCN, located along Idi- Ape Bashorun Road, Ibadan Oyo State, without the authority of the Corporation.
According to a statement personally signed by the Director General, Mohammed Bulama, the public is warned to beware of dealing with any person or group purporting to sell or transfer ownership of the said property, as such transactions are unauthorized and illegal.
The statement adds that members of the public should be aware that the FRCN, located along Idi- Ape Bashorun Road, Ibadan Oyo State has been designated for the new FRCN Medium Wave Transmitter that will be installed this year to ensure effective media coverage of the entire South Western part of the country.
It says Federal Government has already awarded the contract on the FRCN Medium Wave project for the South West as part of the present administration’s plan to provide Nigerians with credible information.
The public is advised to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of any transaction involving FRCN property with the Corporation’s management so as not fall victims of fraudsters.
WARNING:
- Do not purchase or attempt to purchase FRCN property from unauthorized individuals or groups.
- Do not make any payment or provide any form of consideration for FRCN property without verifying its authenticity with FRCN management.
- Any person found to be involved in unauthorized transactions involving FRCN property will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
