The Director General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN, Dr Mohammed Bulama says, the corporation is working towards improving the living standard of staff as well as retooling the system.
Dr Bulama who was accompanied by the Zonal Director,, Ibadan Zonal Station, Mr. Dominic Mokikan stated this while addressing staff of Progress FM in Ado Ekiti.
The Director General who admitted that there were challenges of insufficient funding and obsolete equipment in the corporation noted that efforts were in top gear to address them.

Dr Bulama commended the sense of hard work and dedication of staff of Radio Nigeria, Progress FM Ado Ekiti which he said had brought development to the station especially the connection to an independent power plant.
Speaking on the significance of the Udiroko festival which brought Dr Bulama to Ekiti state, he advised the government and people of the state to invest and promote the cultural festival for economic benefits.





The Director General thanked the Ekiti State Government for the support extended to Radio Nigeria, Progress FM in the state with a promise that the Radio Station will continue to do its best to serve the state better.
Earlier, the General Manager, Radio Nigeria, Progress FM, Ado Ekiti, Dr Adebola Agbaje appreciate the Director General for the visit, saying that the Station would not relent in serving the people of the State better through its good programming and News contents.
