Following his retirement from Public Service, the President, Association of Catholic Public Officers, ACAPO, Ekiti Diocese, Mr Sola Ogunmiluyi has handed over the mantle of leadership to a new President, Dr Williams Adebayo.
During the handing-over meeting held at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral old garage Ado-Ekiti, the out gone President of ACAPO, Mr Sola Ogunmiluyi appreciated God and members for their cooperation when he was leading the Association.
He urged public servants who are Catholics to join the association to Move it forward while promising to continue to support the Association.
In his acceptance speech, the new President of the Association, Dr. Williams Adebayo promised to justify the confidence reposed in him by serving diligently and sought the cooperation of members to achieve the required success.
In a remark, the Chaplain of ACAPO, Reverend Father Kelvin Fakehinde commended the out gone President who he said served the body wholeheartedly, praying God to reward him abundantly.
The Association of Catholic Public Officers however used the occasion to congratulate the immediate past Governor of Ekiti state, Dr Kayode Fayemi Who was also a member of the association on the successful completion of his administration.
They also rejoiced with the present Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, praying for him to succeed in the new office.
