Properties worth millions of naira have been lost to fire at a popular JK furniture in Basiri area of Ado Ekiti.
The fire was said to have consumed all the working tools in the factory.
Speaking with newsmen, the Director of JK FURNITURE, Mr Tolu Kolawole said the causes of the fire outbreak could not be ascertained, as he was notified by passers- by and sympathizers via telephone that fire razed the factory.
Mr Kolawole said effort to salvage the materials and working tools in the furniture factory failed as the inferno had consumed everything before the arrival of the fire fighters from the Ekiti state fire services.
He therefore pleaded with government and well to do Nigerians to come to their aid as their means of livelihood has been destroyed by fire.
