The Federal Executive Council, FEC, has approved over 2.6 billion Naira for the procurement 60 operational vehicles and various gadgets to support security agencies effectively secure the FCT.
Briefing newsmen on the approval, the Minister, Alhaji Musa Bello, said the delivery period of the consignment was 2 months.
He explained that the procurement of the vehicles was part of the administration’s continuous support to security agencies.
FEC has also acceded the request of the ICPC to procure 30 operational vehicles to enhance operation.
FEC also approved a policy on monitoring and evaluation presented by the Ministry of Finance.
