Federal Lawmaker offsets Salary Arrears of APC Executives

The House of Representatives member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1 and Chairman, House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Hon. Olusola Fatoba has cleared five months backlog of salaries owed ward and local government executives of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ado and Irepodun-Ifelodun local government areas.

According to the breakdown, five months salaries of one hundred thousand naira paid to each of the ward Chairmen in all the 24 wards in Ado and Irepodun-Ifelodun local governments while all the local government executives received twenty five thousand naira each.

Also, each of the APC local government party chairmen for Ado and Irepodun-Ifelodun got two hundred and fifty thousand naira as five months backlog of salaries.

Speaking during the disbursement of Cheques to the beneficiaries, Hon. Fatoba urged members of the party to be steadfast and support the second term ambition of Governor Biodun Oyebanji to continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy as well as give room for more developmental projects in the State.

The lawmaker, represented by Alhaji Babatunde Onipede promised more support and dividends of good governance for constituents, saying the present administrations led by President Bola Tinubu at the federal level and Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State would do everything to ensure good welfare packages for all and sundry.

In their remarks, two of the beneficiaries, Ado APC ward ten Chairman, Chief Fakorede Olusola and Chief Bode Osanyinlusi from Igede Ward A, in Irepodun Ifelodun Local Government, noted that the payment further demonstrated the commitment of Hon Fatoba towards the progress of the party and promised to support future ambitions of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and Hon Olusola Fatoba.
