Fatoba Urges Ekiti Residents to Update PVCs Ahead of Elections

A member, representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, and Chairman, House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Hon. Olusola Fatoba, has called on the residents of Ekiti State to take active part in the ongoing Nationwide continuous voter registration exercise.

‎Hon. Olusola Fatoba stated this while speaking with journalists in Ado-Ekiti.
‎He emphasized that it is very important for Nigerians who have attained the age of 18 years and above to do their registration with INEC which will allow them to perform their role during  elections in the country.

‎The lawmaker pointed out that the exercise is also an opportunity for citizens to update their information, transfer voter registration to another unit, and replace damaged or lost voter cards.
‎According to him, the permanent voter’s card will enable citizens to vote for candidates of their choice during elections.

‎The lawmaker appealed to Ekiti people in particular to participate in the ongoing exercise to set their records straight by updating their Permanent Voter Card (PVC ) to be able to cast their votes for the candidate of their choice.

‎Hon. Fatoba urged citizens to make use of the opportunity to participate in the electoral process ahead of the Governorship election in Ekiti State, as well as the general election.

‎He, however, appealed to the people of the state to continue to support Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji in his efforts to take Ekiti state to enviable heights. He also commended Governor Oyebanji for making Ekiti state peaceful for all and sundry.
