Some burglars have destroyed two ATM points of New Generation Banks at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, ADO-EKITI and carted away undisclosed amount of money.
Progress FM reporter gathered that the incident happened last night.
According to the reporter, the burglars later invaded wards in the hospital and collected money from patients as well as nursing mothers.
Effort to confirm the incident from the spokesperson for Ekiti State Police Command, Mr. Sunday Abutu proved abortive as he did not pick his calls.
A source in the hospital said the incident has been reported at the Oke-Ila Divisional Police Headquarters.
