Management of the Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti has rebuffed a purported message by JAC-3 urging their members to stay away from duty posts until further notice.
In a statement, the Head, Directorate of Information & Corporate Affairs, Mr Bode Olofinmuagun said there was no iota of truth in the circulating message.
He reiterated that adequate measures have been put in place to ensure that staff go about their duties without fear of harassment or molestation.
Mr Olofinmuagun restated the stance of the university that any staff who decides to stay away from work would not be paid for the period of absence.
The JAC- 3 had in a circular warned its members to steer clear from the university environment on allegation that the school authority had been put on red alert to be arrested and kidnapped.
