The Ekiti State Government has informed the general public that the information circulating regarding a ₦25,000 Christmas cash grant from the Governor Biodun Oyebanji, is false and should be disregarded.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Mr Yinka Oyebode says the Governor Oyebanji does not engage in any form of cash grant or cash distribution through unofficial channels or online platforms.
The statement urges the people of the state to remain vigilant and not to provide personal information to unauthorized websites or individuals who are out to defraud them.
It maintained that all official communication from the Ekiti State Government are disseminated through official channels and designated state officials.
