EKiti state Government has hailed the federal government for the re-award of contract for the reconstruction of Ado-Ekiti- Akure Road and Ado ijan Agbado iluomoba road projects
In a statement the special adviser to EKiti state Governor on media Mr Yinka oyebode said the development was a vindication of the struggle of the Government and people of the state in the last one year.
Mr Oyebode noted that while government was expecting the resumption of the new contractors on site, it urged the people, especially motorists, to show understanding for some inconveniences they would experience in the course of the projects.
He said government lauded NNPC Managing Director, Mele Kyari, and the management for accepting the funding arrangement for the road project.
The Federal Executive Council includer the Ado-Ekiti- Akure Road among other Federal Government roads to be fixed through the NNPC Tax Credit Scheme.
