Ekiti Council of Elders has applauded the professional policing of the State under the Commissioner of Police, Mr Moronkeji Adesina since his arrival in the State in April 2022.

The Council gave the commendation during an interface with the Police on how to secure the State in face of the unending security challenge in the Country.

The president of the Council, Prof Joseph Oluwasanmi who was represented by Chief Deji Fasuan charged the Commissioner of Police to be more pro-active and to further beam searches on the hideouts of kidnappers, bandits and other anti-social elements in Ekiti.

Responding, the Ekiti State Police Boss, Mr Moronikeji Adesina thanked the Council of Elders for its sustained collaborative efforts at ensuring that the State is saved for all and sundry.
