Ekiti State Government has advised intending pilgrims to Israel to be good Ambasadors of the state in the holy land.
The chairman, Ekiti State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board, Elder Ayodele Ayeni gave the advice in Ado ekiti at the orientation programme for this year’s intending pilgrims.
Elder Ayeni pleaded with them to be focused and pray for the development the state.
In their remarks, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Mr. Malomo Agbaje and the Legal Adviser, Richard Olowoyo urged the intending pilgrims to obey the laws of the holy land of Israel so as to enjoy the spiritual exercise.
In her presentation on eating habits, a Nutritionist from Irepodun/Ifelodun Council Area, Mrs. Taiwo Omoyajowo charged the intending pilgrims to eat balance diet I order to avoid sickness during their stay.
In his paper titled “Ambassadors of Change and Transformation”,the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Establishment and Service Matters in Ekiti state, Mr. Abayomi Opeyemi advised the intending pilgrims not to take along anything that could implicate them in the holy land.
