Governor Kayode Fayemi has warned land owners in the state to always be mindful of their actions and shun any fraudulent means capable of causing crisis between them and the public.
He gave the warning in Ado Ekiti at the inauguaration of the recently constituted judicial commission on enqury on lands related matters
The Governor said that the panel was constituted in response to the growing concerns of citizens about the increase in cases of land grabbing and other fraudulent land transactions in the state.
Dr Fayemi explained that the panel would receive and examine complaints from individuals and corporate entities on matters arising from the implementation of the executive order on land administration..
He advised members of the panel to make recommendations for government based on their findings on or before February next year..
Responding, chairman of the judicial panel, Justice Adekunle Adeleye gave assurance that members would work towards ensuring effective land administration in the state.
