Ekiti Government Calls for Calm Over Fuel, Naira Notes Scarcity

Ekiti State government sympathised with residents on the challenges being faced over lingering fuel shortage and scarcity of the new naira notes.

The Government, however, appealed to all residents to remain calm and go about their daily activities peacefully as concerted efforts are being made to address the situation.

Governor Biodun Oyebanji through the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Mr Yinka Oyebode pleaded with traditional rulers, religious and traditional rulers to prevail on thier subjects not to allow themselves to be used to foment any trouble on account of the current situation.

He said the present administration was committed to the welfare of citizens and exploring all avenues to make life more comfortable for them.
