In a bid to ensure free, fair and credible bye-election into Ekiti East Constituency one of Ekiti State House of Assembly, the Ekiti State Police Command says it has deployed adequate Personnel for the conduct of the election which is scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday, 20th March, 2021).
Addressing the personnel in Ado-Ekiti, the Commissioner of Police, Ekiti State Command, Mr. Tunde Mobayo charged the Personnel to be professional and avoid any form of corrupt practice while discharging their duties.
He warned against all formsy of electoral malpractices and violence during the election and after, while calling on the political party leaders and supporters to conduct themselves in accordance with the electoral guidelines and principles.
Mr. Mobayo however, declared restriction of vehicular movements in and out of the affected areas during the election except those on election duties and essential services and appealed to motorists to take alternative routes.
