The Ekiti State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Ado Ekiti has fixed the 23rd of November for the adoption of final written addresses of parties In the petition filed by SDP and its candidate challenging the INEC declaration of APC candidate as the winner of the governorship election held in the State on 18th June, 2022.
The Chairman of the Tribunal Justice Wilfred Kpochi, adjourned sitting to that date after consulting with counsel to parties and two other members of the Panel, Justice Sa’ad Zadawa and Justice J.A. Atsen.
Justice Kpochi thanked counsels for their cooperation throughout the period of the hearing of the petition filed by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate, Chief Olusegun Oni.
The Tribunal Chairman urged counsel to parties to exchange their written addresses and replies within the timeframe allowed by law before the November 23rd picked for the adoption of their final written ADDRESSES.
