An educationist, Mrs. Anjorin Adekemi has emphasized the importance of digital technology for pupils at the elementary level.
Speaking during an excursion of pupils of Divine Living Spring Ado-Ekiti to the digital technology facilities of Progress FM in Ado-Ekiti, Mrs. Anjorin lamented the poor attitude of parents to sponsor their children on technological excursion.
She said digital technology at the grassroots would enhance the pupils capacity at their tertiary institution, urging parents to fund their wards technology enhancement excursion.
Conducting the pupils round the facilities, the New Media officer of the Station, Mrs. Funmi Falaye urged education stakeholders to make technological excursion mandatory at the elementary level.
The Pupils who expressed delight thanked Management of Divine Living spring Ado-Ekiti and Progress FM for the impactful excursion.
The technology facilities visited by the pupils include transmitter room, control room, live and production studios among others.
