Financial institutions in Ekiti state were early this morning besieged by customers who probably thought that the agony associated with financial transaction before last weekend’s election would have been over.
Being the first working day after the presidential and national Assembly elections however, some of the bank customers who had been on queues starting from seven of clock in the morning in some locations went away disappointed.
Some of them told radio Nigeria progress FM that they had been frustrated already and did not expect such pains to continue after the election.
Two of them, Mr Olaiya Joe and Mrs Beatrice Emmanuel explained that they were not allowed to enter the banking Hall on time as the officials claimed that they were waiting for orders from their headquarters.
The respondents who are majorly civil servants and retirees complained of inability to transfer, receipt of debit alerts without payment and debit without credit running to two weeks without rectification among others.
Radio Nigeria however gathered from few of the banks officials that efforts are on to solve some of the challenges caused by poor networks.
