The chairman of Gbonyin Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Mr. Oluwadamilare Ajayi has called for the presence of officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC along Ijan-Iluomoba-Aisegba road.
Mr. Ajayi made the call in an interview with progress FM reporter while speaking on the incessant accidents along the route.
He said the call for presence of FRSC officials became necessary to check recklessness among motorists particularly commercial drivers.
The council boss appealed to motorists to always exercise patience by obeying traffic rules and regulations to avert further accident on the road.
Mr Ajayi said authorities of the council had cut the outgrown bushes on the two sides of the road and also filled potholes.
