Lead Entrepreneur Network Africa, LENA’S Micro-Credit Multipurpose Cooperative Society says it is working to support Entrepreneurs with loans to boost their capacity and output.
A member, Board of Trustees of the organization, Mr Yemi Akinbode stated this at the “End of the Year” meeting held in Are Ekiti.He said high level of poverty in the society was contributing to the current insecurity in the country, hence the need to empower people.Mr Akinbode explained that Lead Entrepreneur Network Africa is different from other financial agencies as it was established following due process and came with very low interest rate.
The BoT member gave an assurance that various cooperative groups that have registered would receive the loan within the first quarter of next year.
In a goodwill messages, some leaders of some cooperative Societies including Chief Francis Akinbode, Mrs Yemisi Adeosun and Mr Joseph Dada expressed optimism that LENA Micro Credit society would provide a lease of life for Entrepreneurs in Ekiti State and beyond.
