The newly sworn in Governor of Ekiti state, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has been called upon to appoint people of impeccable character and vision for development of Ekiti state in his administration.
The Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Ekiti state chapter, Reverend Emmanuel Aribasoye who made the call in Ado Ekiti during an interfaith thanksgiving service held to usher in the administration of Mr Oyebanji explained that such would make his administration stand out.
Also, Chief Imam of Ekiti State University, professor Musa Abdu Raheem urged the Governor to allow God to direct his steps in steerring the affairs of the state.
In his remarks, Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji promised to fulfill his pledges and called for the cooperation of members of the House of Assembly to develop the state.
At the programme which was well attended by religious leaders, political office holders, civil servants featured prayers for the Governor, Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye and Ekiti State.
