The President, Leagues of Imams and Alfas in South West, Edo and Delta States, Sheikh Jamiu Kewulere wants faithfuls to abide by the teachings of the sallah celebration.
In his sermon at the Central mosque prayer Ground in Odo Ado, Ado Ekiti, Sheikh Kewulere charged Muslims to embrace love, sacrificial lifestyle, humility and honesty.
He noted that if such virtues were embraced, especially by those in positions of authority, Nigeria would be a better place to live for all.
Also the Imam, Ahmadiya prayer Ground Odo Ado Ado Ekiti, Missionary Mutiu Ayinla says parental care remains the most acceptable service to God and humanity if consciously provided.
Alhaji Ayinla urged parents to love their children, provide for their needs, encouraged them towards good behaviours and give them sound education to become good citizens of the country.
Similarly, the Chief Imam of Government House Ado Ekiti, Alhaji Abdulfatai Olorunkemi urged Nigerians to live together in love to ensure unity and progress.
In the same vein at the Ansaru Deen Prayer Ground ikole Ekiti the Presiding cleric Alhaji ibrahim Zanni admonished the congregation to tolerate one another to promote peaceful coexistence
Some faithfuls including the Senior Economic Adviser to Governor Fayemi and National Vice President Ansaru deen Society Aare Afolabi Ogunlayi, Alhaji Abdulfatai Adeyemo, Alhaji Adeyemo Isola and Alhaji jimoh Aliu Giwa, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Adebiyi and Alhaji Sikiru Tae Lawal appealed to faithfuls to continue to live a sacrificial life as exemplified by prophet Ibrahim.
