Chief Segun Oni Felicitates Muslims on Sallah, Calls Prayers For a Better Nigeria

As Muslims across the world celebrate Eid-el-kabir today, faithful have been urged to use the occasion to pray for the betterment of the country.

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni made the call in a goodwill message to felicitate with Muslims.

Speaking through the Director General, Senior Management Team, PDP Family House, Mr Yemi Arokodare, the former Governor said there could be no better time to seek divine intervention on the challenges facing the nation than the festive period.

He congratulated Muslims in Ekiti State for witnessing the celebration alive despite the various bedevilling the country.

Chief Oni stressed the need for the faithful to extend hands of love to the needy and to be moderate in celebration.

The PDP Stalwart used the medium to greet all leaders and members with a call on them to rejig efforts at making the party be in good stead for next year’s governorship election.

Chief Oni equally assured the esteemed people of Ekiti State that better days lies ahead urging them to keep hope alive and support the Peoples Democratic Party to reclaim power come 2022.

“My call to the people of Ekiti State is that they should endeavor to secure their Voter Card and those who have not register should use the opportunity of the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration to register. This is the only weapon they have as citizens to fight and rescue the state during next year’s governorship election”.
