A governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni has congratulated Muslims in the state for witnessing the conclusion of this year’s Ramadan and celebration of Eid-El-Fitri.
He congratulated the religious leaders for their intercessory prayers for the State particularly, the President league of Imams and Alfas in Southwest Nigeria Edo and Delta , Alhaji Jamiu Keulere, President Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and all the leaders of the different societies.
In a statement issued by the Director General of his campaign organization, Mr Yemi Arokodare, the former Governor thanked God for sparing the lives of the faithfuls to see the end of the holy month.
He expressed the belief that the thirty days fasting was not in vain as it had further raised their consciousness to move closer to God.
Chief Oni admonished Muslims faithful to continue to seek God’s intervention on the security and economy challenges in the country.
The Peoples Democratic Party Governorship aspirant called on people of the state to support the party and ensure that Ekiti State is rescued from political merchants come 2022 gubernatorial election.
