Indigenes and Residents of Ado Ekiti Local Government have once again been called upon to support the officials of the National Population Commission,NPC for the success of the Enumeration Area Demarcation, EAD exercise currently going on in the council.
The Commission in a statement in Ado Ekiti said the cooperation of the people would aid the operation and activities of the officials of the population body in the local government.
The NPC reminded residents that the success of the exercise would go a long way in helping the government to provide necessary social amenities for the people.
The Commission however said the enumeration area demarcation exercise is different from actual census, stressing that residents should work together with the officials.
It commended people of Ado Ekiti Local Government for the cooperation they have shown since the exercise began and appealed to them to continue to give the officials access to buildings in order to number them.
The National Population Commission also urged residents to respond truthfully to questions by EAD officials.
