The Public Compliant Commission, PCC has called on people of Ekiti State to avail themselves the opportunity of the presence of the agency in the state, to make complaints that will foster leadership, accountability and good governance.
The new Public Complaints Commissioner in Ekiti State, Hon. Olukayode Bamisile made the call while resuming duty at the commission’s office in Ado-Ekiti
Hon. Bamisile who noted that the challenges facing the country were as a result of failure of individuals to show patriotism to the course of national growth urged the people of the state to hold their leaders accountable.
The PCC Commissioner assured members of staff of the commission in Ekiti State of a smooth working relationship that would spur the agency to deliver on mandate.
Hon. Bamisile equally appealed to the staff to live by example and ensure that complaints receive justice and treatments devoid of prejudice.
He expressed his readiness to come up with ideas that would enable the commission perform optimally and saying his office would be opened to receive advice and suggestions that would aid its operation.
While speaking, the Director of Investigation, PCC Ekiti State, Mrs Adenike Ajaja welcomed the new Commissioner and assured him of unwavering cooperation saying members of staff were ready to support him to succeed.
The new Commissioner replaced Mr Yemi Arokodare whose tenure expired in May this year after serving two terms.
Highlight of the ceremony was the handover of documents to the Commissioner, cultural renditions and special prayers to God for a blissful tenure for Hon. Olukayode Bamisile.
