President Bola Tinubu has ordered Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu and all relevant agencies to expedite action on the restoration of electricity to the affected states in the North.
The President’s order followed an emergency meeting he held with the Minister of Power and the National Security Adviser NSA, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, over the prolonged blackout that has disrupted daily life and economic activities in the region.
He expressed dismay over the widespread impact of the power disruptions in the states, urging those concerned to restore electricity to the areas as soon as possible.
