The Arewa Youth Forum (AYF) has called on Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State to submit himself for National service and Contest for the President in 2023..
The President General of the group Comrade Gambo ibrahim Gunjungu made the call when he other led executives members on a courtesy visit to Governor yahaya Bello in Lokoja.
He maintained that the group was proud of the Governor numerous antecedents in the areas of security, infrastructure, youth and women inclusion in governance as well as his position against the politicization of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The AYF President General added that the association has commenced consultation with their patrons on how it would propagate yahaya bello’s message across the nation.
In a remark Governor Bello emphasized the need for the citizens across the nation to continue to support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, noting that the president was doing his best to proffer solutions to the challenges facing the country.
He added that his responsibility as the Chairman of the committee was not limited to any individual while some new entrants would be refined to learn the party’s modules of operations.
He charged the AYF to encourage Nigerian youths to participate in the ongoing registration and revalidation exercise of the APC to afford them the opportunity to attain leadership roles.
