The Apeju of Ilupeju Ekiti, His Royal Majesty Oba David Sunday Awe Akingbade has congratulated sons and daughters of Ilupeju Ekiti,home and abroad on the ocassion of the new year celebration.
Oba David Sunday Akingbade in a statement made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti said it is imperative to felicitates with his subjects and appreciate them for their unflinching support for the development of Ilupeju Ekiti.
The monarch in a new year message, prayed God for sound health and upliftment in all spheres of life for his subjects, saying when his subjects are in good positions, definitely the growth and development of Ilupeju Ekiti is sacrosanct.
According to Oba David Akingbade,
“This year, the Almighty God will pleasantly surprise you and your loved ones with His goodness. What has been difficult for you to accomplish in the past, He will fulfill it; He will send you helpers,
Sorrow will be far from you and all your dwelling shall be peaceful,
fruitfulness and perfect protection shall be your lots.
Throughout this year, accident and untimely death will not be your portion in Jesus Christ precious name. Ilupeju Ekiti is blessed and will enjoy unusual favour and rapid growth in 2023.
Ekiti State and Nigeria will experience peace, all the challenges facing our state and Nigeria shall be curtailed this year in Jesus name.

Oba David Akingbade enjoined all Ilupejus: home and abroad to be worthy ambassadors of the town wherever they are. He further reiterated that the relative peace the town enjoys will be sustained as he called on Ilupeju indigenes to invest in the town and make it envy of others in Nigeria.
