APC Chieftain Distributes Christmas Package to Various Wards in Ekiti North Federal Constituency

In the spirit of Yuletide, Over Seven hundred bags of Rice have been distributed across thirty two wards in Moba, Ilejemeje, and Ido Osi Local Governments of EKITI North Federal Constituency (ll) by a Philanthropist and Chieftain of All Progressives Congress Hon Akinlayo Kolawole.

The largesse was also extended to the less privilege and the aged in the district in line with the humanitarian gesture of Hon Akinlayo kolawole to always give back and shared love with the people in the society.

At the ceremony held in ikosun Ekiti, the donor Hon Akinlayo said the idea was borne ouf of the need to identify with the aged and the needy as well as members of leaders of the party in the local government during the season.

He remarked that since Christmas was a period to show genuine love irrespectives of peoples ethnic and political parties it became expedient for him to demonstrate such attitude for the people to give them sense of belonging.

Hon Akinlayo further stressed that democracy could only be sustained if leaders provide quality leadership, ensure accountability and transparency at all level of governance.

He emphasized the need for political class to embrace selfless service to the people who voted them into power as part of dividends of democracy just as he promised to continue to give helping hands to the downtrodden..

Hon Akinlayo also gave an assurance of his readiness to support the party and work towards ensure the candidacy of Former Secretary to Ekiti State Government Mr Biodun Oyebanji at the next Governorship primary of the APC in January.

He therefore greet the people of Ekiti state for Christmas and New year celebration with a call on them to be steadfast and committed in the new year..

Earleir some of the beneficiaries hailed the philanthropist gesture of the donor and urged him to continue with such idea which they said would make them more comfortable.

Similarly in thier remarks the less privilege and the aged could not hide their feelings as they prayed and showered encomium on Hon Akinlayo Kolawole.
