Another set of Pupils receive School Materials from Ekiti First Lady .

In continuation of her gesture aimed at encouraging children to return to school, wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji has taken distribution of school bags containing writing materials to pupils and students across all the local government areas of the state.

The Governor’s wife who was represented at the distribution by the Coordinator of one of her pet projects, Widows, Aged,Orphans and Hope Initiative (WAOH), Mrs Kemi Dairo noted that the well-being and education of young ones are paramount to the present administration, hence the complimentary effort at encouraging the pupils.

She emphasized that government acknowledged the importance of education as it remained the key to unlock future plans and doors in achieving success as well as becoming great in life.

Dr Oyebanji urged the beneficiaries to utilize the school materials for the best interest of their education and be focused on their studies describing them as the future glory of the state and families they represent.

She also expressed the believe that all the materials distributed would go a long way in giving relief to parents whose critical needs were being met at the time the children are getting prepared to go back to school for new academic session.

“We are giving out all these materials not only to aid the resumption of the children but also to reduce the burden on the parents as schools prepare to begin new academic session”.

The First Lady therefore appreciated the cooperation of grassroots administration with the State government and solicited the continued support through prayers for more developmental strides.

In their good will messages, the Chairmen of Local Government Areas visited, Honourables Bamidele Fadugba, Tosin Adedayo, Abayomi Folowose, Bamidele Omoleye, among others, extolled the complementary efforts of the Governor’s wife in promoting education by the present administration.

The Council chairmen were therefore appreciative of the fact that government was ensuring the well being of the people irrespective of political, religious and other affiliations.

The local governments visited during the four-day tour included Moba, Ilejemeje, Oye, Ikole, Efon,Ekiti West, Ijero, Ido/Osi, Ekiti East, Gbonyin,
Ise / Orun and Emure.
