Christ School Ado-Ekiti has commenced activities for the 2021/2022 academic session under the Management of the Anglican Church.
Christ School Ado-Ekiti is one of the Missionary schools recently handed over to their original owners by Ekiti state government.
At a brief ceremony to start academic activities, prayers were offered to witness a successful session.
Speaking at the forum, the Bishop of Ekiti Anglican Diocese and the Arch Bishop of Ondo Ecclesiastical Province, Most Reverend Christopher Omotunde said the school under the authority of the Church had laid a good foundation for the sustenance of the quality education which Christ school was known for.
Most Reverend Omotunde appreciated Governor Kayode Fayemi for releasing the school to the Church while also commending efforts of the Alumni of the school for the realisation of the dream.
On his part, the new Principal of the school, Venerable Oluwasola Adekola assured parents and Guardians that their children and Wards would be tutored in line with global best practices.
Venerable Adekola advised the students to be focused and delight in order to come out in flying colours in their academic pursuit.
In an interview, an Alumnus of Christ School Ado-Ekiti, Dr. Odunayo Fagbeiro promised the continued support of the Alumni towards ensuring the growth and development of the school.
