No fewer than eight persons have been feared dead while some sustained injuries in a ghastly motor accident along Ifaki-Ayegbaju road.
The accident involved a car and a Toyota Siena which were involved in an head-on collision.
The car was said to be coming from Ifaki while the Siena was coming from Ayegbaju.
Witnesses say the accident was caused by excessive speeding.
It was gathered that some of the victims were coming from a wedding ceremony.
Those who died have been taken to mogue while those who sustained injuries were taken to hospital.
The accident led to gridlock on the route, meanwhile Road Safety Officials were seen controlling traffic.
