The independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has declared the APC Senatorial candidate for Ekiti North, Mr Cyril Fasuyi as winner of the Senatorial election held yesterday.
INEC Returning officer for Ekiti North, professor Dosu Malomo announced the result in Ido Ekiti.
Professor Malomo said Mr Cyril Fasuyi of the APC scored fifty four thousand, two hundred and twenty four votes to beat his co-contestants.
He said the PDP candidate, Mr Funso Ayeni polled thirty nine thousand, nine hundred and seventy six to come second while Akinloye oladele of the SDP came third with one thousand, seven hundred and thirty nine votes.
