My Promises are Statements of fact, I’m Bond by them. -AVM Ojuawo

A retired military officer and candidate for Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1, in the 2023 general elections, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress,APC, Air Vice Marshal Rufus Ojuawo has renewed his position that security,education, leadership training, and empowerment  remain his major concerns if he becomes victorious at the polls.

He gave the indication while featuring in an interview  in one of the broadcast media in Ado-Ekiti. 

The House of Representatives hopeful gave an assurance that he will forge good ties with his colleagues with a view to  ensuring  that leadership education training forms the fulcrum of schools curriculum to prepare the younger ones for leadership.

The retired top military brass stressed the need to teach the younger ones  leadership education in schools to arm them with what it takes to get to the  leadership ladder, and by extension contribute to the good of the country.

According to him, having rendered my service to the country in different areas within and in the diaspora, I can say  I am in a better stead to  proffer solutions to security challenges bedevilling the nation  as a trained  security personnel. He opined that ‘bushes should be painstakingly and constantly checked,while the  communities should be involved to get vital  information that will assist the police and allied security agencies to rout the  unscrupulous elements from their hideouts. 

The Ise-Ekiti born politician pledged to  empower his constituents to justify the confidence reposed in him. He pointed out that he would do things differently from other politicians, while explaining that he would do things differently by initiating laws and policies that impinge on the wellbeing of the people.

The APC National Assembly candidate advised supporters to vote massively for Ahmed Bola Tinubu  considering his antecedents in politics.
