Argentina has been crowned the 2022 FIFA World Cup champions after beating the 2018 Defending Champions, France in the final.
Agentina had drawn 3-3 against France after 120 minutes at Lusail Stadium.
Lionel Messi and Angel di Maria put Argentina 2-0 up in the first half, but Kylian Mbappe scored a brace in the second half to force the game into extra time.
However, Messi scored for Argentina in 108 minutes before Mbappe scored a late extra-time second-half goal to force the game into a penalty shootout.

Meanwhile, following the conclusion of the 2022 World Cup, the organizers have handed out awards to outstanding players.
Argentina midfielder, Enzo Fernandez, has been named Young Player of the Tournament.
His teammate Lionel Messi is the Player of the Tournament.
Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez takes home the Goalkeeper of the Tournament prize.
France forward, Kylian Mbappe, who scored eight goals for France emerged the Top Scorer of the Tournament.
Argentina won the trophy via a penalty shoot-out after the game ended 3-3 after 120 minutes.
