Osun state governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has solicited the support and cooperation of workers for a suceessful administration.
Governnor Adeleke who made the appeal in Osogbo at a meeting with the labour leaders in the state, assured them of good rapport with his governmemt.
He explained that the state’s account which was frozen was to enable the new governent to study things with a promise to speed up process so as to hasten the payment of workers’ salary.
Governnor Adeleke stressed that he would appreciate due process in the scheme of things, urging the state labour to do things aright.
In a reaction, the chairman, Osun state Trade Union Congress, Mr Adekola.Adebowale expressed trust in the governnor to abide by his words, as he called on the civil servants to support the new administration.
Mr Adebowale.who expressed understanding that the embargo on the state’s account was normal, however urged the governor to take necessary action so as not to delay workers’ salary longer than necessary.
